Melanie Hatter, LMT, FSMTB
Licensed  Massage Therapist
Melanie is a licensed massage therapist – certified by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards – as well as a Reiki II practitioner and is  adept at many different modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone. She graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church, Va. With a background in journalism and corporate communications, she decided to pursue something different and discovered a love for giving massage. It’s an activity that places her firmly in the moment, completely immersed in erasing stress or easing discomfort in the client. Watching the body relax, the muscles soften and, sometimes, hearing the person’s snore – the ultimate compliment that her hands are bringing complete relaxation to another – brings her joy. Melanie is also a published author, and massage is a wonderful balance to her writing. Visit her website at melanieshatter.com to find more about her published works.
